introduction to storyboarding camera angles

Camera Angle marks the certain location at where the camera is placed to take a shot. A scene might include multiple camera angle simultaneously. This gives audience a different experience and sometimes even emotion. Overhead Level and hip level are both examples of camera angles. Overhead is when the camera is angles directly above the objects head. Hip level is usually used for cowboy scene, this is when camera is directly at hip level or someone's waist.   The concept of this exercise was for students to study and analyze the 4 main concepts of camerawork, shot size, camera angles, camera framing and camera composition. Students were able to plan a story board frame, understand the ways in which media language works with viewpoints. Also, how the audiences respond to interpret media language. Completing this exercise was very entrancing.
