Production week: Day 5

Another scene to flim!

today we focused on closing out the movie. So we got all the other filler clips along the clip with the kidnapping. Today all we needed was the main character and the antagonist to shoot. In all today only took about an hour to film because everyone knew their parts and knew what to do.

CAMERA FRAMING- Camera shot framing pertains to how you position objects and subjects in shots. The position of the visual elements in a frame such as the objects or subjects in relation to other objects in a scene. Framing can also make an image more pleasing to the eye and keep the viewers focus on framed object(s). The two main types of framing are loose framing and tight framing. Loose framing has elements appear from a open space and the scene is so spread-out giving subjects' freedom to move around. The objective of this assignment was to Apply the key concepts of camera movement, shot sizes, angles, framing, and elements of mise en scene in preparation for their Opening Film sequence. For this assignment we worked in a group 2. student 1 had the responsibility of directing the film and student 2 had the responsibility of drawing out the directed film.
